Precision-machined spacer for fitting a VW 16V mechanical timing belt tensioner onto a 1.8T / 20V engine when deleting the OEM hydraulic tensioner. Essential for Mk1 Golf and Caddy 20V conversions where the engine mount conflicts with the stock hydraulic unit. Allows correct belt alignment and preload when using the INA 027109243 tensioner. CNC-machined from billet aluminium for exact fitment.
Required when fitting a 16V tensioner on a 20V engine conversion.
