The DRD VW MK1 Steering Column Boot is a stock-standard aftermarket replacement for the original steering column / universal joint boot fitted to right-hand-drive VW MK1 vehicles.
As these vehicles get older, the original rubber boots commonly become hard, brittle, cracked or completely torn, particularly after years of exposure to engine bay and exhaust heat. Finding a usable original replacement has also become increasingly difficult, making this one of those small but important parts when restoring or refreshing a MK1.
This replacement boot is designed to replace the deteriorated original and restore the steering column area to a neat, factory-style condition.
